Rebecca is a licensed psychotherapist and the founder of Essex County Counseling and Wellness. Her therapeutic work focuses on assisting people toward creating healthy and intimate relationship with themselves and others in their life. She also has a strong passion for helping individuals feel more empowered and confident. Rebecca has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Salem State University and has years of clinical experience that includes working at McLean Hospital, the Veterans Administration and hospital emergency psychiatric services. Her focus has been work with women and career oriented adults who struggle with anxiety and self-limiting beliefs. Rebecca also has significant experience working with veterans and geriatric clients and their families.
In her practice, Rebecca maintains an integrative approach, using a blend of different psychotherapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, relational therapy and strength based techniques. Treatment is always tailored to each individual person and their goals.
